The World Endurance Championship, or ‘WEC’ as we all seem to call it has moved in a new direction over the last 18 months. The old format saw LMP1, LMP2, GTE Pro and GTE AM categories all racing together. Now the series has evolved and 2 categories remain, Hypercar (the new LMP1 class) and GT3 (effectively the old GTE AM class).
2023 saw the start of this new era with new hypercars hitting the track from Ferrari, Cadillac and Porsche, 2024 will see even more from the likes of Lamborghini, BMW, Issetta with even more big names to come.
I was honoured and privileged to have shoot all rounds of the season with Salih the team at TF Sport and closing out their time with AMR, I wish them all the luck as they move into partnership with GM and run the exciting looking Corvette entries in 2024.
